Locate a soft, flexible seamstress tape measure. Determine the widest portion of your head, typically starting just above the eyebrows and in the rear, you may feel a slight knot on the back of your skull.
No soft tape measure? Simply cut a 30” piece of string and grab a yard stick.
Using a mirror, place the tape so that centimeters are visible starting at the front and wrap it comfortably around your head covering the widest portion until it overlaps above the eyebrows and ears.
If using a string method, follow the steps above. Mark on the string where it overlaps so that you can lay it down against the yard stick to determine the length in inches.
You should be left with a measurement between 52 & 63 centimeters. Use our provided conversion chart below to determine your appropriate hat size. Enjoy.
It’s always good to measure a few times to ensure that you achieve a consistent result.

A round face is about as wide as it is long, with a wider forehead, full cheeks, and a rounded chin.
Try balancing out your face shape with a boxy crown and/or a wide brim.
An oval face is longer than it is wide, with fairly straight lines running from temple to jaw, and a round chin.
Try hats with a shorter crown and/or a wider brim to avoid elongating your profile.
Widest at the cheekbones, your face is highly angular, with a wide forehead and a tapered chin.
Try hats with a shorter crown and a medium width brim.
A square face has a strong jawline, a wide forehead, and wide cheekbones.
Avoid styles that are flat or angular. Hat shapes with curving lines will be especially flattering on you.
